Park of the Reserve

Considered one of the most spectacular and visited tourist attractions of Lima, which offers unforgettable scenes of color, music, water, light, magic and charm.

The Magic Water Circuit, located in Parkof the Reserve, is a wonderful set of 13 ornamental, cybernetic and interactive fountains where water, music, light, images and laser effects, in perfect conjunction and harmony, are mixed to present us, unique and incredible shows, full of magic, illusion and fantasy. In 2009, it was awarded the Guinness World Record Prize for the World's Highest Fountain Complex in a public park.

The Magic Water Tour, a local Project of a big magnitude, nationally and internationally acknowledged as one the most important touristic attractions in Lima, has become the symbol of recovery of public spaces and an icon of the city’s modern look, boosting the city’s development, the people’s standard of lifesince its inauguration July 26th of 2007. 
 
This amazing tour included the recovery of more than 7,000 trees, the restoration of all the existent monuments in the Park of the Reserve including the reassessment of the 23 original fountains that date back to 1929 and, with them, their historical and cultural character. 
 
Today, Lima can take pride of this amazing show in a place full of magic, fantasy and lots of culture, which also represents a place for everybody to meet and enjoy.

The Architecture of the Reserve Park

It is the highest expression of the Art Deco style, with a decorative trend of the 1920s and the Belle Epoque where geometric figures and zigzags stand out, its style is neoclassical.

The Grand Lodge

The design of the Lodge has Italian influence, is a gallery or porch that is at ground level and is open on both sides, supported by columns and arches. It is the main architectural element of the Reserve Park and the Magic Fountain Of 80mof height.

The Sabogal House

Also known as the Inca house, where the pre-Columbian figures are represented, symbols the highest expression of Indigenism in the Reserve Park.

Fountain of the Ñocos

The sculpture of a child playing the marbles "The Player of Ñocos".

Monument to Fermín Tangüis?

The same that is conformed by an architectonic building constructed by the Peruvian architect, sculptor and urbanist Manuel Piqueras.

 

Monumento Sucre - Plaza de las Indígenas

 

It is an equestrian monument of Marshal Antonio José de Sucre in 1924, placed in the Plaza of the same name.
